China Wi-Max Executives Achieve All Objectives During November Trade Mission
A group of China Wi-Max executives and business partners traveled to Beijing and Shanghai from October 27th through November 4th. A total of 11 employees, consultants, contractors and investors traveled with Dr. Allan Rabinoff to Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou.
The primary goal of this trip was to inspect and test the fiber-optic cable and related support services that China Wi-Max has acquired over the last several months in Beijing.
“The testing went phenomenally well and we will be ready to begin offering both hard-wire and Wi-Max driven high-speed connectivity as early as the first quarter of 2008,“ Dr. Rabinoff explained. “It is exciting to see the world-class data networking and operations capability we have acquired in Beijing. These facilities are as good as, or better, than installations we have utilized in North America or Europe," Dr. Rabinoff added.
During this visit, the China Wi-Max team toured the entire path of the 75 miles of purchased fiber backbone, passing through several major business districts, cataloging the buildings within reach of our fiber optic and Wi-Max facilities.
"As the tour progressed, I was reminded of the rapid build out and growth during my previous experiences developing infrastructure in numerous US cities," commented Leo Kutz, CTO of China Wi-Max. He went on to say, "As the Chinese business community continues with exponential growth, it is exciting to know we will be contributing to our customers success offering them high quality fiber and Wi-Max connectivity."
Before leaving Beijing, members of the group met with senior Chinese officials to continue discussions of developing our business model in at least 10 other cities and the potential for city-to-city interconnections.
Upon arriving in Shanghai, the team met with local officials to finalize plans for acquisitions in that market and to arrange for technical inspections during January of 2008.
The last stop during the trip was Hangzhou where the company reached an agreement with a prominent university for deploying a Wi-Max network, providing research and testing opportunities for the company and exciting educational opportunities for faculty, staff and students.
Other highlights of the trip included:
- Met with senior members of our technology partner focused on moving forward with an acquisition by China Wi-Max allowing us to offer connectivity as well as technical support services in one comprehensive package.
- Meetings with a law firm in China to confirm that our plans for going public will be compliant within both US and Chinese regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Planning for the build out of other Chinese cities and reviewing initial opportunities for city-to-city interconnection of our fiber and Wi-Max networks.
"The main goal for this trip was to inventory and test the technical assets we have recently acquired in Beijing and set the stage for launching our first customer in 2008," Dr. Rabinoff concluded. "We were completely satisfied and highly impressed and this trade mission confirmed the tremendous efforts and achievements of the China Wi-Max team."

China Wi-Max Founder and Chairman Reports on Successful Trade Mission to China in August of 2007
Mequon, WI, August. 16, 2007: Dr. Allan Rabinoff, founder and Chairman of China Wi-Max Communications, Incorporated (CWMC), outlined the highlights from a successful trade mission to China (that took place from August 4th through 12th ) for the China Wi-Max board of directors. Highlights from the trip include:
- Dr. Rabinoff met with China Wi-Max's Chinese Partner and government officials in Beijing to complete the purchase of a four core fiber ring in Beijing and to formally secure permission to apply for its initial wireless frequency license to complement the fiber.
- While in China, Dr. Rabinoff properly registered and funded Go Da Yang Guang Communication Technology Ltd. (Go Da), a wholly foreign owned entity (WFOE), enabling China Wi-Max to acquire assets and operate as a duly registered Communications Company in China. Additionally, they received confirmation that Go Da can purchase fiber and obtain Wi-Max licenses in other strategic locations.
- While in Beijing, Dr. Rabinoff worked out the final terms for the acquisition of a telecom reseller. This reseller is a perfect complement to China Wi-Max's roll out in Beijing with 6,000 commercial customers and a sales force of sales agents to help roll out China Wi-Max's Wi-Max and next generation communication services.
The initial and subsequent purchases of fiber combined with wireless Wi-Max frequency licenses puts CWMC in what Dr. Rabinoff believes to be, a very unique position to serve the insatiable need for wired and wireless data bandwidth in the growing Chinese market. All of these accomplishments underscored with the long standing relationships the founders of China Wi-Max respect and enjoy in both private industry and the Chinese government made for an optimistic recap from its founder and Chairman.
Upon returning from China, preparations began immediately to develop the opportunities secured during the August trade mission and to prepare for the next trip in October:
- China Wi-Max is currently closing out its initial Private Placement funding as it readies for its second phase of private funding which will assure the purchases and initial build out agreed upon in the secondary cities.
- Partnership and joint venture discussions continue with companies in the wired and wireless arenas.
- An official search for an experienced CEO to help manage and drive the growth of the company commenced on August 15th.

China Wi-Max Formalizes Terms for Acquisition of Chinese Wi-Max Licenses and Fiber
Mequon, WI, Jun,11 2007 - On May 15th, CWMC officers and representatives met with Chinese government officials to formalize the terms for acquisition of up to ten Wi-Max licenses in ten major Chinese cities. These licenses will be bundled with fiber-optic cable (fiber) rings around these major cities. CWMC is actively finalizing the legal details and reporting to ensure compliance with Chinese laws and act on this unique and valuable opportunity.
This is a watershed event for the corporation with huge economic and financial implications. Existing networks in China are becoming increasingly congested as the country's business community begins to embrace the next phase in China's path to progress - the communication revolution. Consequently, CWMC's acquisition of these licenses occurs at a propitious moment in China's technical and social development. Fiber is the perfect complement to WiMax by providing the bandwidth essential for network access to every WiMax base-station in a city. In its turn, WiMax serves to extend, at modest cost, the huge bandwidths available over fiber to subcribers within transmission range of each base station. Due to the seemingly insatiable need for bandwidth, new fiber capacity to meet this need is crucial and as CWMC's fiber rings and Wi-Max licenses go live, CWMC will be well positioned to provide highly reliable service to CWMC's commercial customers.
This additional bandwidth will also create opportunities for CWMC to partner with other operators including international carriers to co-develop and joint-venture future value-added, networks and services.
The valuations of these licenses are subject to initial and ongoing interpretation, however, management's analysis of current business factors experienced during the recent trip suggests that the minimum value of each license, bundled with fiber, is at least US$20,000,000.
